Allen Update Process
For each word in James P. Allen's "Middle Egyptian: An Introduction to the Language and Culture of Hieroglyphs":
- Look up the word in the wiki.
- If there is no page, then create the page based on Allen's information.
- Perform general cleanup.
- Consolidate duplicate definitions.
- Update word part-of-speech style and detail per Allen.
- Add spelling examples per Allen.
- Cite Allen as appropriate.
- Incorporate trite phrases.
- Search for the word and focus on phrase results.
- Identify trite phrases that employ the word and provide the phrases on the word page.
- Delete the phrase pages that have been incorporated into word pages.
- Cite phrases on word pages for other significant phrase words.
- Cite non-trite phrase pages (without deleting)
- Search for the word and focus on phrase results.
- Identify non-trite phrases that employ the word and provide the phrases on the word page.
- Cite phrases on word pages for other significant phrase words.
- Add phrase data not already present per Allen.
- Add references section.
